Your Data Helps Us Understand: mood and care in maternal health deserts

Terms to know: Maternal care desert –  A place where pregnant people have a hard time getting the important care they need during pregnancy.

In maternity care deserts, more anxiety, depression, preeclampsia, pregnancy loss and miscarriage have been reported among our PowerMoms.

Though our numbers are small, we see big difference so far in anxiety, depression, preeclampsia, pregnancy loss and miscarries in moms living in maternal health deserts compared to others.

Thank you for helping us learn!

To gain even MORE insights, we need more participation from PowerMoms like you!
